Keyword Research

Finding Keyword Opportunities Your Customers Actually Use

A repeatable process for expanding a seed topic into useful, commercially relevant search opportunities.

Build from real business language

Start with sales conversations, customer questions, service descriptions, support requests, and competitor terminology. These sources reveal how the market describes problems and outcomes before a keyword platform adds search-volume data.

Expand through multiple sources

Use keyword tools, competitor pages, search suggestions, related searches, Google Search Console, and internal site-search data. Look for modifiers involving location, audience, problem, service type, comparison, price, and urgency. Each modifier can reveal a different stage of the customer journey.

Group and qualify the ideas

Cluster terms that share the same intent rather than treating every wording variation as a separate page. Remove topics that are irrelevant, too broad, or impossible to serve well. The final set should connect cleanly to existing pages, planned pages, or a credible content roadmap.

Keyword discovery works best when tools expand genuine customer language rather than replacing it.
